Strawberry Freezer Jam

4 cups suga
3/4 cup water
1 box powdered pectin Stir strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes. Bring water and pectin to a boil and let boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add pectin mixture to fruit and stir for 3 minutes. Fill cleaned jars, leaving space for expansion at the top. Tighten screw on lid securely, let sit for 24 hours, freeze.
Makes 6 half-pints
